Kittens from earlier years

The Colourpointed British shorthair was developed by mating the longhair Colourpoint to British cats. This created colourpoint carriers who not only had the colourpoint (or Himalayan) gene but also that for chocolate and lilac so adding these beautiful colours to the British Cats.
The Himalayan gene restricts the colour to the points (the ears, face, legs and tail), some body shading does occur in the darker colours as they grow older
All colourpointed colours have blue eyes, the self chocolate and lilac have gold eyes
Although Bedazzle cats no longer breed colourpointed they continue to be admired
